I build products in messy environments and, for reasons that should probably be examined, I seem to keep choosing roles where the spec arrives half-formed and slightly on fire.
I started as a founding engineer at Protex AI, did the predictable tour through product engineering and technical leadership, spent a brief spell at HubSpot, and now do forward deployed engineering at Kota — which is a polite way of saying I sit uncomfortably close to real customer problems and then make them executable.
Outside of work I read philosophy, poke at tech experiments, and try to write things down before they evaporate. This site is that habit, made public.
